Conference Schedules – Tahoe Dreamin’ – Salesforce Community Conference

Under the hood, DayBack is publishing records from Blackthorn Events, the package Tahoe uses to manage the conference. DayBack gives attendees a live connection to the conference data without requiring them to log in.

We’ve done a few conference schedules in DayBack where we have narrowed the visible days and the timezone to the event, using DayBack’s “resource” columns for the session rooms.

Here’s an example from the PauseOnError conference in 2024. In this deployment, speakers submitted their sessions in DayBack, and the calendar would suggest alternate times if a proposed session had a keyword conflict with a similar session at the same time.

In this example, DayBack uses the first column for an overview of the day before breaking the day out into time slots for each session. The PauseOnError scheduled used a custom object for sessions, but DayBack can render any Salesforce objects containing dates or times.
