Buffers help you protect your schedule from hidden time costs while clearly signaling real availability to your team.

This extension adds visual, rule-driven padding before and/or after events by drawing “virtual” calendar blocks that represent the time you actually need for preparation, travel, wrap-up, or recovery – time that usually isn’t reflected in a calendar.

You can define:

• Buffer Before — prep time, travel time, setup
• Buffer After — wrap-up, notes, travel, decompression
• Manual buffers on specific events
• Automatic buffers based on job type, location, or custom logic

The result is a calendar that mirrors how your day truly functions, not just when appointments start and end.

By default, buffers are visual and advisory. They don’t block scheduling, but the included app actions are designed to be easily extended if you want to enforce hard scheduling rules.
