Set up keyboard shortcuts which allow you to hold a key and click on an event to instantly change its status. Action will show an animation and play a sound indicating that the change was done. Set up a unique shortcuts and sounds for each status.
Custom Workflows Productivity and Shortcuts
This app action is easy to set up and requires very little changes. You can set up your own list of keyboard shortcuts and statuses, as well as pick from a library of custom sounds. Sounds can be set up to play for all changes, or can be changed to play for each individual status.
