You can now create “evergreen” bookmarks in DayBack thanks to support for relative dates. This should mean you won’t have to make new bookmarks as often.
Previously, bookmarks could take you to a specific date, or they could leave the calendar focused on the date you were looking at when you clicked the bookmark. Now, you can have a bookmark that always snaps to a relative date, like the first day of the current month.
Relative Dates & Analytics
Relative dates are great for bookmarks showing calendar analytics, giving you one-click access to your capacity for the current quarter, for example.
Bookmarks are crucial to managing complex schedules. They enable you to follow different stories in the same calendar–stories about your capacity, appointments, or revenue. You can even load different bookmarks on startup for different users, giving each role in your company a calendar view tailored to the questions they are trying to answer. Note that these options are only available for internal bookmarks: those you make for “Just Me” or “My DayBack Group.” If you want public bookmarks to be evergreen, you should consider a live connection to your calendar like the one provided by DayBack’s Salesforce Connect. For a detailed comparison, check out our guide to Calendar Sharing Options in Salesforce. The equivalent option in FileMaker would be sharing DayBack over WebDirect.
